United States Embassy in Warsaw

The U.S. Embassy in Warsaw is the headquarters of the U.S. Mission to Poland, overseeing one of the most important U.S. alliances in Europe. The mission's foremost priority is the security partnership, including the rotational presence of thousands of U.S. troops and extensive military cooperation. The embassy also manages a rapidly growing economic relationship and provides consular services to a large and diverse population. It coordinates with a Consulate General in Krakow.

The American Citizen Services (ACS) unit provides a full range of services to the growing community of U.S. citizens in Poland, including many dual nationals and those working in the defense and business sectors. Services include passport renewals, Consular Reports of Birth Abroad, and notarial acts.

The embassy actively promotes two-way investment. Through SelectUSA, it encourages Polish companies to invest in the United States. It also supports the significant and growing U.S. investment in Poland, particularly in the technology, manufacturing, and energy sectors.

The Public Affairs section manages cultural and educational programs that strengthen the deep U.S.-Polish bond. It oversees the large and prestigious Polish-U.S. Fulbright Commission and supports a wide variety of exchanges and events that highlight shared democratic values and historical ties.

The embassy is located in a central part of Warsaw. A new, larger embassy compound is planned to accommodate the growing relationship. Security is high, and visitors are subject to strict screening. The U.S. military presence in Poland is a key component of the mission's work.
