The Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye in Berlin is Turkey's principal diplomatic mission in Germany, one of Turkey's most important bilateral relationships. Germany is home to approximately 3 million people of Turkish origin — the largest Turkish diaspora in the world — and is Turkey's biggest trading partner. The embassy handles high-level diplomatic relations, while Turkey's extensive consular network across Germany (13 consulates general) serves the large Turkish-German community with passport, citizenship, and civil registration services. Germany is also one of the largest source markets for tourism to Turkey, with millions of German tourists visiting Antalya, Istanbul, and the Aegean coast annually.
